The party is over. The celebration is finished. 2011 is here. What do you do on NEW YEARS DAY?
Maybe we can help…
If you have partied a little bit too hard the night before, take some time to recover. Sleep in, drink lots of water and relax. January 1 is yours to enjoy in the quiet of your home – your blood shot eyes will thank you.
2. Join the Polar Bear Club
If you don’t know what this is just imagine cutting a hole in the ice of your local lake and going for a dip. This is easy for us Canadians (not really).
3. Go over your Resolutions
If you made a resolution for 2011, this would be a good time to review it and get your plan together. Shame on you if you only make it one day with your new commitment.
4. Watch College Football
New Year’s Day is a big day for College Football. Here is the Schedule from ESPN.
|12:00 PM ET||Northwestern vs. Texas Tech*
|1:00 PM ET||No. 16 Alabama vs. No. 9 Michigan State*

ROSE BOWL GAME PRESENTED BY VIZIO
|8:30 PM ET||Connecticut vs. No. 7 Oklahoma*

5. Go to a Holiday Matinée
Your local theatre will have lots to see on January 1. Take your family out for a movie.
6. Clean up your Christmas decorations
In case you have not figured it out… Christmas 2011 is a long ways away. Too long to leave your decorations up till then.
7. Start a Hot Yoga Class
Yoga is well known for it’s healing, cleansing and renewal effects. What better day for cleansing and renewal than on New Year’s Day! Hot Yoga classes are taught in a heated room, with temperatures ranging from 90 degrees to 104 degrees. The heat promotes muscle flexibility and sweating, which helps get the toxins (ex. bottle of champagne on New Year’s Eve) out of your body.
What are you going to do today?
